Elizabeth Anne “Betsy” (Crouch) Leary, 59, of Waldron, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at her residence.
She was born September 29, 1957, in Beech Grove, the daughter of Robert Joseph and Doris Ann “Dodie” (Haley) Crouch.
Elizabeth is survived by her mother of Indianapolis; son, Dylan Kimbrell of Lewis Creek; sister, Jennifer Patrick of Indianapolis; brother, Robert Joseph Crouch Jr. of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Savannah Kimbrell and Scarlett Kimbrell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Kimberly Susan Houston.
Elizabeth graduated from Triton Central High School in 1975, and received an associate’s degree in health administration from Ivy Tech.
She was a member of New Life United Methodist Church.
Elizabeth was formerly an office manager at Key Bank and Hahn Systems. She had also worked as a clinical laboratory specialist at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Elizabeth had a love of the outdoors, enjoying her flower gardens and watching and feeding the birds. She also enjoyed spending time going to yard sales and collecting antiques. Elizabeth also liked to listen to music.
A memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at New Life United Methodist Church, 6145 N 400 W, Fairland, Indiana.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
