Emery F. Dunagan, 79, of St. Paul passed away Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Major Hospital.
Born October 30, 1927, in Greenfield, he was the son of Jay and Nannie R. (Flynn) Dunagan. He married Marilyn J. McNeely on February 24, 1951, and she preceded him in death on November 24, 1985.
Survivors include his sons, E. Duane Dunagan and Charles "Bob" (wife, Vena) Dunagan both of St. Paul, and Ed (wife, Connie) Dunagan of Milwaukee, Wis; daughters, LaDonna K. (husband, Larry) Stewart of Shelbyville and Deborah R. (husband, Leon)of Needham; brother, Paul M. Dunagan of Greensburg; sisters, Margaret Bolinger and Emogene Plymate, both of Shelbyville; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by his parents; son, Roger A. Dunagan; and brother, Jim Dunagan, Henry Dunagan and Harry Dunagan.
Mr. Dunagan had been a self-employed truck driver for Sims Auto Transport, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union and Local 380, I.L.G.W.U.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 7414 E. Michigan Road, with the Rev. George Mitchell officiating.
Interment will be in Paul Hill Cemetery in St. Paul.
