Ermadene Lorena Perry Britt

Ermadene Lorena Perry Britt, 78, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Wayne County, the daughter of Margaret L. and Arnold C. Perry. Denie is survived by daughter, Deborah Bettge and husband, David, Jacksonville, Florida; son, Bret Justus and wife, Jada, of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Matthew McIntire, Dana Justus and Jerek Justus; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James T. Britt; daughter, Candice Justus Ferrell; and granddaughter, Ciala Justus Reins. Denie graduated from Morristown High School in 1952, and worked and lived in Shelby County and the surrounding area the majority of her life. She loved time spent with family, friends and pets. She enjoyed camping and being outdoors with the birds and flowers. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville, followed immediately by a brief memorial service. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
