Ernest Eugene Crim

Ernest Eugene Crim, 90, Huntington, formerly of Shelbyville passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Huntington. Born November 6, 1921 in Shelby County, he was the son of Ernest Roy and Sharolet Elsie (Gruell) Crim. Survivors include his son, Richard E. Crim of Waldron; and daughter, Marilyn G. (husband, Edward) Knepple of Ora. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Ada L. (Williams) Crim, Hazel (Whitaker) Crim and Jennifer (Kirton) Crim; and sisters, Ruth Bunch and Oletha Wright. Mr. Crim lived most of his life in Shelby County, residing in Huntington for the last 15 years. He retired from Western Electric in Indianapolis as a machinist, after 32 years of service. Mr. Crim was formerly a member of Abundant Life Church in Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Graveside services will be at 2 pm, at Forest Hill Cemetery, 704 Morris Avenue in Shelbyville, with Jerry LeBrun officiating. Interment will follow.
