Estelle Mae Worland, 97, of Waldron, died Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Waldron Health Care Home, in Waldron.
Born May 24, 1907, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Laura Elizabeth (Yarber) Jackson. She married Elmer Worland in 1923, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 1974.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Betty J. Worland of Shelby County; three grandchildren, Chris Worland of Shelbyville, Patti Martin of Martinsville and Brenda Worland of Shelby County; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Ralph Worland; one brother, Irvin Jackson; and one sister, Thelma Paugh.
Mrs. Worland lived in Shelbyville most of her life.
She was a homemaker and previously was employed with Indiana Bell for five years and Kennedy Carliner for 15 years.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Edwin E. Mohr officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
