Evelyn M. Kilbride, 61, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at her sister’s residence.
She was born August 5, 1954, in Greenfield, Ohio, the daughter of Millie (Fulk) and Larry Parker and Carl Wiseman. She married James G. Kilbride on May 5, 1979, and he preceded her in death on November 10, 2008.
Evelyn is survived by her mother of Shelbyville; sister, Pam Jones and husband, Bob, of Shelbyville; daughters, Tammy Avery and Natalie Horton and husband, Chuck, both of Clio, Michigan; son, Walter Kilbride of Michigan; grandchildren, Destany, Brittany, Erika and Cody; great-grandchildren, Travis, Bradley, Skylar and Dallas; nieces, Tabitha Peyton and husband, Chris, and Casey Jones; nephews, Teddie Jones and wife, Chasity, and Jeremy Jones and wife, Sarah; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her father and stepfather; and nephew, Michael Rouse.
Evelyn enjoyed working at the Shelbyville Elks Club and Millie and Larry’s Fish Fry, retiring in 2006. She also worked at Classie Lassie with Sue Payne.
She loved the time she spent with her family. Evelyn also liked to go fishing, play bingo and spending time on her computer with her friends.
Evelyn loved animals; especially her horse, Boogie and her dog, Lil’ Bit.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
