Faye A. Smith, 75, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
She was born August 7, 1937, in Gwynneville, the daughter of Purnal J. and Mabel (Enos) Tracy. She married Jack D. Smith on January 14, 1956, and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1983. She married Bill Smith on June 12, 2002, and he survives.
Other survivors include her daughter, Melissa Smith of Nashville, Tennessee; step-sons, Brian Smith of Kentucky and Greg Smith of New Castle; sisters, Zona G. (husband, Thomas) Lee of Morristown and Loretta M. Purcell of LaGrange; brothers, Purnal J. Tracy, Jr. of Osceola, Wisconsin and Harry I. Tracy of Greenfield; several step grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Renee Smith on October 3, 2003; and a step-son, Jeff Smith; and a sister, Janet Miller.
Faye graduated from Morristown High School in 1955.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Indianapolis North Stake.
She formerly worked as a secretary at GTE, PPG and Indianapolis Life, retiring in 1999.
Faye enjoyed crocheting, going to country music concerts and traveling.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery.
