Frances Henry

Frances Henry, 82, of Waldron, died Monday, April 17, 2006, at Major Hospital. Born Feb. 1, 1924, in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Oren and Orestra (Smith) Dorsett. She married Donald J. Henry on Dec. 12, 1970, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1996. Survivors include two sisters, Catherine McNabney of Mooresville and Mary Elizabeth Clark of Avon. She also was preceded in death by one brother. Mrs. Henry had been a secretary at Indianapolis Life Insurance Co. from 1942 until retiring in 1970. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Red Cross and Major Hospital Guild. She attended Waldron Baptist Church. A gathering of friends will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Holland officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
