Fred E. Roach, 69, of Rushville, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born April 6, 1943, in Hamilton, Ohio to Fred and Betty E. (Martin) Roach. He married Brenda Sue Farquer on August 29, 1962, and she survives.
Other survivors include his sons, Fred “Earnie” Roach, Jr. of Ruskin, Florida, Jason (wife, Jennifer) Roach of Clarksville, Tennessee and Brian K. Roach of Mt. Comfort; daughters, Peggy Sue Roach of Pennscola, Florida, Marjorie L. Bradley of Westport, Christina L. Torres of North Carolina and Jennifer A. Guinn of Freeport; sisters, Mary Griffin of Rushville and Marie Mount of Shelbyville; 30 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters.
Fred owned and operated Roach’s Trash Service for 30 years, retiring in 2005.
He like to fish and hunt, and also enjoyed hunting mushrooms.
Mr. Roach was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Wayne Scott officiating.
Interment will be in Fountaintown Cemetery.
