G. Edwin "Ed" Gaston

G. Edwin "Ed" Gaston, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Indiana University Health North Hospital in Carmel. He was born March 21, 1942, in Shelbyville, the son of Dr. C. G. and Thelma (Faulconer) Gaston. Mr. Gaston is survived by his son, Randall Gaston of Edinburgh; grandson, Ryan Gaston of Edinburgh; and his beloved cat, Cali. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Gaston graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1961 and attended photography school in Los Angeles, California. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. Mr. Gaston retired from Lucent Technologies. He was the owner of Indy Home Marketing Group, LLC. He was also a professional photographer. He was a member of the Indianapolis Board of Realtors. Graveside services will be at 2 pm, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
