Gary D. Davis, 75, of Sinking Spring, died October 12, 2012, in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.
He was the husband of Brenda Irene (Dickey) Davis, whom he married January 13, 1967.
Born in Fairfield, IN, he was a son of Harold L. Davis and Hazel F. (Haag) Davis-Brown.
Gary graduated from Manilla High School in 1955 and attended Indiana Central Univ., Indiana and Santa Ana College, CA.
He worked as a tool and die maker for AT&T for 37 years, retiring in 1995.
Gary belonged to Country Western Dancers of Reading.
He was an avid boater and water skier on the Ohio River Valley; an avid snow skier, traveling the United States and Europe, along with his wife.
Other hobbies he enjoyed include, traveling, golfing and woodworking.
Also surviving are his three childern; Greg Davis of Haltom City, TX; Renne Anders and Kim Ervin, both of Melbourne FL.
In addition, he is survived by a sister, Evonne, wife of John Kuhn of Arlington, IN and a brother, Navelle Davis, husband of Sherrie of Morristown, IN.
Other survivors include a granddaughter, Mindy, wife of Brian Mathis and their daughter, Corinne Mathis, all of Ft. Worth, TX.
Graveside services will be in Manilla Cemetery on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Linda Frische-Mouri officiating.
