Gary Russell "Doc" Junken

Gary Russell "Doc" Junken, 50, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, August 15, 2008, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. Born January 7, 1958, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Gen Junken and Joan (Dickman) Junken. Survivors include his brothers, Larry Junken of Lebanon, Scott (wife, Cindy) Junken and Terry Junken, both of Shelbyville; sisters, Dal-Marie Seaton and Kathy (husband, Mike) Kolls, both of Shelbyville, and Danni (husband, Mark) Barnes of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, J. Royden Seaton. Mr. Jenken graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1976. He was self-employed in dry wall for several years. Mr. Junken was an avid Indiana University, Colts and Pacer fam. No visitation or services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.
