Gladys Ann (Pogue) Bosse

Gladys Ann (Pogue) Bosse, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 at Ashford Place Health Campus in Shelbyville. She was born June 29, 1947, in Sylacauga, Alabama, the daughter of Curtis and Georgeanna (Cox) Pogue. Gladys is survived by her daughters, Patricia Caraway, Lona Sullivan, Marisha Wilson and Martha Hosey; brothers, James “Richard” Pogue, Michael Pogue and Jerry A. Pogue; sisters, Kathleen Ray and Anna Lisby; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Wayne Pogue, Thomas Pogue and David Pogue; and sisters, Teresa Lisby. Gladys formerly worked as a custodian, retiring in 2002. She loved art, drawing, ceramics, working with flowers, painting and sewing. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 7414 E. Michigan Road, Waldron, IN, with Pastor George Mitchell officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
