Gleela Ann Critser

Gleela Ann Critser, 63, of Shelbyville went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 20, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Born January 24, 1949, in Paxton, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert Nelson and Mary Ada (Hansford) Rash Simpson. She married her loving and devoted husband, Robert D. “Bob” Critser on April 29, 1981, and he survives. Other survivors include her sons, Todd (wife, Susan) Stocklin of Shelbyville and Randy (wife, Angie) Stocklin of Indianapolis; daughters, Stephanie (husband, Mick) Wise and Kelly (husband, Chris) Stephens, both of Shelbyville; brothers, Floyd (wife, Betty Lou) Rash of Jasonville, Dean (wife, Ruth) Rash and Robert (wife, Reba) Simpson, both of Shelbyville and Bob (wife, Donna) Banks of Ladoga; sisters, Betty Rady and Carolyn Robertson, both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Jordan Wise, Jared Wise, Sammy Stocklin, Nolan Stocklin, Rylie Stephens, Lanie Stephens and Kade Stephens; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Sonny Simpson and a sister, Virginia Simpson. Gleela was a lifelong Shelby County resident and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1967. She was a member of Harvest Life Community Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Gleela was a homemaker and enjoyed her time with friends and family. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Simpson officiating. Interment will be in Miller Cemetery.
