Glen Eugene Williams

Glen Eugene Williams, 88, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Richard L. Roudebush Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born July 30, 1926, in Shelby County, the son of the late Sylbert and Wenonah (Taylor) Williams. Glen is survived by his daughter, Vicki Williams of Shelbyville; sisters, Mary Lou Bush of Rushville, Evelyn Isley of Shelbyville, Pauline Eads of Florida and Marjorie Williams of Laramie, Wyoming; and close friend, Libby of Bedford. He was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Maxine Adams. Glen graduated from Morristown High School in 1944. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Glen was a self-employed truck driver. He was a charter member of the Shelby County Western Riders. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
