Gregory Allen "Greg" Conover

Gregory Allen "Greg" Conover, 56, of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at his residence. Born July 13, 1952 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Charles F. Conover and Martha A. (Long) Conover. Survivors include his mother, of Shelbyville; brothers, Charles R. Conover of Indianapolis and Richard D. Conover of Shelbyville; nephew, Charlie Conover of Morristown; great-nephew, Cory Conover of Morristown; girlfriend, Brenda K. Rush of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Conover previously was employed with the Indiana State Highway Department. He had attended Shelbyville High School. Mr. Conover was a member of the National Rifle Association and former member of the Eagles Lodge. He formerly attended Shelbyville Baptist Temple. He loved to deer hunt. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Friday, November 7, 2008 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN. Funeral services will be at 10 am Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelbyville Eagles Lodge, 20 E. Franklin St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
