Gregory Dean VanDuyn, 46, of Shelbyville passed away Monday, June 30, 2008 at Major Hospital.
Born October 28, 1961, in Greenfield, he was the son of Larry L. VanDuyn and Lois R. (Brown) VanDuyn. He married Kim D. Gault on October 28, 2005, and she survives.
Other survivors include his father and stepmother, Dorothy VanDuyn, of Knightstown; daughter, Kea (husband, Chuck) Smith of Shelbyville; sons, Gregory A. VanDuyn and Brandon S. VanDuyn, both of Shelbyville; stepson, Joseph Ramey of Franklin; stepdaughters, Susan Ramey and Brittany Ramey, both of Franklin; brothers, Doug (wife, Melissa) VanDuyn of Shelbyville and Jeff (wife, Darla) VanDuyn of Morristown; sister, Becky Vaughn of Shirley; stepbrother, Chris (wife, Tammy) Nelson; and grandchild, Maliki VanDuyn.
He was preceded in death by his mother and niece Jordyn Vaughn.
Mr. VanDuyn was employed at PK USA for 19 years, where he was a team leader in stamping.
He graduated from Morristown High School in 1981.
Mr. VanDuyn was a member of the National Muzzel Loaders and Rifle Association.
He loved hunting, fishing, and camping, and was a huge KISS fan.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Russell, Tim Hensley and Tim Jordon officiating.
Interement will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
