Harold "Dean" Pennington

Harold "Dean" Pennington, 55, of North Vernon,Indiana passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. Born February 27, 1953 in Seymour, Indiana to Pearl Pennington and Lillie Fern "Adams" Wagner. Survivors include one son; one daughter; brothers, Allen Wayne Pennington and Ronald Lynn Pennington, both of North Vernon; sister, Anna Faye (husband, Robert) Zike of Flat Rock, Indiana; step-sister, Oraz Wagner of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Edward Pennington and step-brother, William Brett Wagner. Mr. Pennington was a former supervisor for Manar, C.E.W. Division in North Vernon, prior to that he worked construction in Florida. He loved to fish and hunt. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Norristown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
