Harold Lawrence "Larry" Browning Jr., 55, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Community Hospital East, Indianapolis.
Born Aug. 15, 1950, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Harold Lawrence and Dorothy Dean (Clevenger) Browning Sr.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Smith, Lawrence Browning and Ronald Browning, all of Indianapolis, and U.S. Army Pvt. Anthony Browning; one brother, Ronald (wife, Robin) Browning of Avon; four grandchildren, Lawrence Browning Jr., Alexa Browning, Julian Browning and Mariah Browning; and special friend, Steven Butler of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Browning was a former Fairland resident.
He had been the owner and operator of a wholesale satellite business in Indianapolis from 1989 to 2005. He was previously employed at Allison Transmission in Indianapolis for 18 years.
Mr. Browning graduated from Broad Ripple High School, Indianapolis.
He was a licensed ham radio operator and a member of UAW Local No. 933.
Private services will be observed.
