Hazel Dell Kessler, 92, of Shelbyville, passed away, Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.
She was born August 3, 1923 in Manilla, the daughter of Edward and Nora (Theobald) Kessler.
Hazel is survived by three nieces and six nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Paul “Raymond” Kessler.
Hazel graduated from Manilla High School.
She was a member of Town and Country Christian Church.
Hazel was formerly employed at the Canning Factory in Arlington, Greenfield Dry Cleaning Plant and Plymates. She began working at Major Hospital in 1969, and retired with 24 years of service.
She loved animals, especially cats.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Forest Hill Cemetery, 705 Morris Avenue, in Shelbyville.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
