Helen Louise McKenney, 91, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Walker House in Shelbyville.
Born July 16, 1918, she was the daughter of William and Sophia (Trendelman) Suiter. She married Norman C. McKenney on March 24, 1940, and he preceded her in death on January 20, 1998.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol Jean (husband, Michael) Stilabower of Greenwood and Sheila (husband, Bruce) Williams of Fort Myers, Florida; sister, Frances (husband, Wilbur) Cole of Clay City, Indiana and sister-in-law, Martha Coers of Waldron.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. McKenney had been employed at KCL and retired from Hub Shoe Store as a sales clerk.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had also attended West Street United Methodist Church.
Mrs. McKenney graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1937.
She was an avid tennis player.
No visitation is planned.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Corlis Dees II officiating.
Services are entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
