Helen Veronica Love, 87, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Major Hospital.
Born Oct. 6, 1918, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late Doyle and Ella (Colvin) Craig. She married William "Bill" Love on Dec. 25, 1938, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Richard of Shelbyville and Sharon (husband, John) Nauert of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Kevin (wife, Michele) Nauert, Kelly Hammack, Eric (wife, Dawn) Nauert, Amy (husband, Rick) Wackerly and Susan (husband, Darrell) Barnes; 11 great-grandchildren, Justin Nauert, Joshua Nauert, Jennifer Nauert, Heather Hammack, Ryne Hammack, Emily Nauert, Elizabeth Nauert, Lauren Wackerly, Emily Wackerly, Sarah Barnes and Jenna Barnes; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Adam Hadley and Cory Hadley.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Garnetta Sims, Margret Conklin and Lois Lindsey.
Mrs. Love lived most of her life in Shelbyville.
She was a homemaker and had been a bookkeeper for Love Service until 1993.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Love was an avid reader.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Freeman Family Funeral Home, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Farnsley officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
