Henrietta Kendall

Henrietta Mohr Kendall, 92, of Shelbyville, died Monday, July 17, 2006, at Waldron Health Care Home in Waldron. Born July 18, 1913, in Moral Township, she was the daughter of Henry A. and Georgeann (Means) Mohr. She married Ervin E. Kendall on June 15, 1931, and he preceded her in death on March 24, 1980. Survivors include one stepson, Warren (wife, Margaret) Kendall of Connersville; one sister-in-law, Anna Lou Mohr of Shelbyville; seven stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; several stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one stepson, Martin Dale Kendall; five brothers; five sisters; and one stepgrandson. Mrs. Kendall had lived in Knightstown for many years before moving to Shelby County. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Kendall was a member of Knightstown United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Farnsley officiating. Interment will be in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
