Hesper Marie Mohr

Hesper Marie Mohr, 101, of Clarkston, Michigan formerly for Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 in Clarkston. Born December 12, 1905 in Brown County to Joseph Snyder and Mary Parker Snyder. She married Dale Mohr on June 28, 1938, and he preceded her in death on June 5, 1995. Survivors include her son, Lee (wife, Mary Kay) Stillabower of Spring Hill, Florida; daughter, Janet (husband, Dean) Pierson of Clarkston; grandchildren Sherry (husband, Lewis) Gray, Shelly Guthrie, Andrew (wife, Kimberly) Kim, Jennifer (husband, Todd) Maze, Rachel Pierson, and Susan (husband, Jason) Staley. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ronald Dale Mohr; daughter, Patsy Ruth Mohr Kim; brothers, Charles Snyder and Carl Snyder; sisters, Mattie McKee and Vinnie Duckworth. Mrs. Mohr was formerly a cook at Shelbyville High School. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and the Missionary Society. Mrs. Mohr was a member of Home Economics Club and PTA.
