Hugh B. Wickizer, 83, of Shelbyville passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at his home.
Born May 6, 1926 in Monticello, Indiana, he was the son of Donald J. and Helen (Boggs) Wickizer. He married Mary Breedlove on June 22, 1952, and she survives.
Other survives include his sons, Karl (wife, Anne) Wickizer of Huntsville, Alabama, Gregory S. (wife, Mona) Wickizer and H. Eric (wife, Kim) Wickizer, both of Shelbyville, Kirk (wife, Sheryll) Wickizer of Nederland, Texas and J. Bradley (wife, Amy) Wickizer of Davenport, Iowa; sister, Helen Jean (husband, F.W.) Theis of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Wickizer, Jr. and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Wickizer owned and operated Tippecanoe Press from 1950 until retiring in 1991.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Mr. Wickizer graduated from the University of Cincinnatiin 1950, with a degree in business administration.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Rotary Club, Blue River Elks Lodge and Unique Club.
A gatherine of friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Knights of Columbus, 413 E. South St.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.

A gathering of friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Shelbyville Knights of Columbus.
