Inez Artie (Kendall) Barlow passed away on April 12, 2016 at home, from natural causes. She was 101 years old.

After graduating from Manilla High School, she married Dale Barlow on September 14, 1935. Their son, Kenneth Dale Barlow and wife, Sharlene, of Marshall, North Carolina survive.
She was the proud grandmother of four granddaughters; Debbie Cameron and husband, Mike, New Boston, Michigan, Dianne McNew of Shelbyville, Donna Knox and husband, Glenn, of Ocala, Florida, and Darlene Janis of Loganville, Georgia. Inez lived on the Sheppard farm on State Road 44 for 55 years. For several years, in the winter, when they weren’t farming, she worked in the cafeteria at Hendricks Elementary School. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking – she was a really good cook! Most of all, she enjoyed her family. She and Dale retired from farming in 1983. In 1990, they moved to Pompano Beach, Florida. They moved back to Shelbyville in 2006. In 2008, after Dale passed away, she moved to Michigan to live with her granddaughter.
