Isaac Daniel Blackford

Isaac Daniel Blackford, 14, of Fountaintown passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Born October 4, 1997, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Dan and Nancy (Leuck) Blackford, and they survive in Fountaintown. Other survivors include sisters, Kylie, Taylor and Micah Blackford, all of Fountaintown; paternal grandparents, Hubert and Carolyn Blackford of Fountaintown; maternal grandmother, Helen Sare; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Isaac was an eighth-grade honor student at Morristown Junior-Senior High School, where he was on the cross country team. He was a class clown, enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing his PlayStation games. Isaac was a member of Shelbyville Community Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Shelbyville Community Church, 720 North 325 East in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at the church, with Pastor Brad Davis officiating and Jason Chenoweth assisting. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelbyville Community Church, "The Middle" Youth Group, 720 North 325 East, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
