James G. "Little Jim" Kilbride, 67, of Fairland passed away Monday, November 10, 2008, at Major Hospital.
Born July 8, 1941,in Flint, Michigan, he was the son of Bernard Kilbride and Lucille J. (Galarno)VandenBerg. He married Evelyn Wiseman on May 5, 1979, and she survives.
Other survivors include his mother of Clio, Michigan; daughters, Tammy Avery and Natalie Kilbride, both of Flint; son, Walter Kilbride of Saginaw, Michigan; half-sister, Loretta Burgess of Hale, Michigan; grandchildren, Erika, Brittany, Destany and Cody; and great-granddaughter, Skylar.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Kilbride owned and operated Grease Buster Interceptor in Sheblyville from 1975 to 1996. Prior to that, he was a welder.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Kilbridge was a former member of the American Legion Post No. 70 and Loyal Order of the Moose, both in Shelbyville.
Gathering of friends will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
