James K. Crawhorn, 69, of Port Orange, Fla., died Monday, June 11, 2007, at Hospice Care Center.
He was married to Joyce Ann (McDaniels) Crawhorn for 52 years, and she survives.
Other survivors include his daughters, Terri Covey of Port Orange and Rebecca McGee of Daytona Beach, Fla.; son, David Paul Crawhorn of South Daytona Beach, Fla.; sister, Barbara Jean Sebastian of South Bend; sister-in-law, Helen Snyder of Shelbyville; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Bobby Ray Crawhorn, James Kenneth Crawhorn Jr. and Marvin Lee Crawhorn; and sister, Norma Lee Hilton.
Mr. Crawhorn, former Shelby County resident, was born in Hope and moved to the Florida area in 1975 from Edinburgh.
He was a retired route salesman for the Flowers Baking Co.
Mr. Crawhorn was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Crawhorn was an avid fan of sprint car racing, Indy racing, NASCAR, basketball and football. He cheered for Dale Earnhardt Sr., Tony Stewart, Indiana University Hoosiers and the Indianapolis Colts.
Visitation will be from 10 to noon on Tuesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
