James “Mark” Rosenfeld, 60, of Waldron, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.
He was born May 3, 1956, in Shelbyville, the son of Francis and Margaret (Aldridge) Rosenfeld. He lived his whole life on the family farm east of Waldron.
Mark was one of 11 children and is survived by his brothers, Dan Rosenfeld and wife, Ginny, Francis Rosenfeld Jr, and Gene Rosenfeld; sisters, Patricia Rosenfeld, Carol Shaw and husband, Larry, Connie Bergman and husband, Bob, and Peggy Jacobs and husband, Dennis; and aunt, Mildred Aldridge. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as, many very close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill Rosenfeld and Michael Rosenfeld; and a sister, Katherine Nancy Rosenfeld.
Mark attended Waldron High School the class of 1974.
He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church.
Mark worked at CGS in Morristown.
He enjoyed relaxing in the garage and gardening tomatoes and peppers.
Mark loved the farm and cherry pie.
He loved to laugh, would listen to you and put others before himself.
It is so sad to lose someone with such a big heart for others.
No services will be observed. At a later date family and friends will gather to share memories of Mark and his kindness.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
