Jean Roberta Gooding

Jean Roberta Gooding, 69, of Morristown passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at her residence. Born January 7, 1943, in Clairmont, Ohio, she was the daughter of John Sr. and Marjorie (Vilvance) Farquer. She married Donald L. Gooding on October 2, 1964, and he survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Marie Infante of Greenfield; sons, Paul "Eddie" Farquer of Fountaintown and Nathan Hail "Jim" Thompson IV of North Carolina; brothers, Donald L. "Don" (wife, Mel) Farquer and Richard E. "Dick" Farquer, both of Fountaintown, Salvester W. "Pat" (wife, Becky) Farquer of Lake Santee and Billy J. Farquer of Indianapolis; sister, Brenda S. (husband, Fred) Roach of Rushville; sister-in-law, Jo Farquer of Rushville; uncle, Roger Kimmberly of Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a twin brother, John R. Farquer. Mrs. Gooding enjoyed crafts and cooking. Visitaiton will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Pastor Wayne Scott officiating. Interment will be in Fountaintown Cemetery.
