Jeannette T. "Jet" Monroe Huesman, 44, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., former Shelbyville resident, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, in the Mid-Tennessee Medical Center, in Murfreesboro.
Born Dec. 13, 1961, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Donald and Betty L. (Martin) Graham. She married Victor A. Huesman of Murfreesboro on March 20, 2004, and he survives.
Other survivors include her parents of Shelbyville; one son, Edward "Fred" Monroe of Hattiesburg, Miss.; one daughter, Erin M. Monroe of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Beckie Pike of Indianapolis, Macle (husband, Jess) Kelley of Delphi, Kierste Cunningham of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Cheryl Reed of Marietta; two brothers, Rusty (wife, Sandy) Donaldson of Orange City, Fla., and Jimmie Graham of Shelbyville; and one grandson, Evan Milo Monroe of Murfreesboro.
Mrs. Huesman also had lived in Florence, Miss., from 1997 to 2004 but spent most of her life in Shelby County.
She was a social worker for Mid-Cumberland HRA and had previously been a social worker in Jackson, Miss., and in Greenfield.
Mrs. Huesman graduated in 1980 from Waldron High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in social services from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis.
She had attended Trinity United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Huesman loved jazz music and entertaining family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
