Jerald Dewayne "JD" Stephen, 70, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed on Friday, May 18, 2012 at his residence.
Born May 2, 1942 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Howard and Virginia (Byroad) Stephen. He married Debra A. Stephen on February 18, 1968, and she survives.
Other survivors include his son, Jerald (wife, April) Stephen, Jr of Big Rock, Tenn. and Timothy (wife, Keta) Stephen of Clarksville, Tenn.; daughter, Suzanne (husband, Al) Coe of Clarksville, Tenn.; brother, William (wife, Patty) Stephen; sisters, Ada (husband, Richard) Morris of Morristown, Juanita Patterson, of Shelbyville, Nancy (husband, Kenny) Grimes of Gwynneville, Sandra Houston of Brookville, Cherilyne (husband, David) Martin of New Palestine and Kathlyne Lady of Richmond; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Ann Stephen; brothers, Edward L. Stephen, Marion M. Stephen and Charles W. Stephen.
JD was a truck driver.
He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Truck Driver Ministry and the VFW.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Randall Parker officiating.
Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery.
