Jerry Lee Fox

Jerry Lee Fox, 74, of Morristown, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. He was born August 13, 1941, in New Palestine, the son of Donald and Ruth Elizabeth (Miller) Fox. On April 30, 1959, he married his wife of 56 years, Joan Smith Fox, and she survives. Jerry is also survived by his son, Jerry Lyn Fox of Morristown; daughter, Lana Edmonds and husband, Mike, of Middletown; brothers, Norman Fox and wife, Mary, of Spencer, and Larry Fox and wife, Ruth, of Modoc; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bob Fox and Bill Fox. Jerry graduated from New Palestine High School in 1959. He retired from Western Electric, with 20 years of service. He was also a logger. Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
