Jimmie L. Fox, 59, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 at his residence.
Born June 8, 1950 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Cecil W. and Delores M. (Badgley) Fox. He married Patsy F. Berry on December 24, 1987, and she survives.
Other survivors include his children, Angie (husband, Norman) Coffman, Amanda (close friend, Marc Davis) Ward, Debbie (companion, Tabitha Malsom) Boucher, Angie (husband, Joe) Spurlock, Mick (wife, Stephanie) Wise and Randy Bray, all of Shelbyville; brothers, Larry (wife, Linda) Fox and Russell (wife, Sandy) Fox, both of Shelbyville; 26 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Fox was formerly employed by TA Eaton in Ohio.
He attended Shelbyville High School.
Mr. Fox enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Miller Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jimmie Fox Memorial Fund, in care of Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, Indiana 46176, American Cancer Society, Benesse Oncology Center or Shelby County Cancer Association.
There will be a benefit ride at noon Saturday with registration at The BrickHouse, 57 E. Locust St., to help with the funeral expenses and monument.
