Joan M. Rund

Joan M. Rund, 81, of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Heritage House Convalescent Center. Born November 26, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Louis C. and Lisle M. (Schafer) McDonald. Survivors include her daughter, Sue A. (husband, Gary) Williams of Shelbyville; step-grandson, Keith (wife, Shawn) Williams of Shelbyville; and three step-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Rund was formerly the secretary for the Federal Probation Department in Indianapolis, retiring in 1997. She graduated from Fairview High School in Dayton, Ohio in 1947. Mrs. Rund loved all animals, especially horses.
