John A. Taylor

John Allen Taylor, 33, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Shelbyville. Born June 17, 1978, in Franklin, Indiana, he was the son of Jr. and Reba (Jones) Taylor. Survivors include his parents of Shelbyville; three sons, Jordan, Brennon and Dexter; brothers, Anthony Taylor and Roy (companion, Angie Ayers) Taylor, both of Shelbyville; sister, Patricia (husband, James) Rodriguez of Shelbyville; and grandmother, Mildred Jones. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy and Ida Jones; and paternal grandparents, Lola and Othar Taylor. John was a general laborer. He enjoyed sports and fishing. John attended Shelbyville High School. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 1 pm, at the funeral home, with Duane Jones officiating. Interment will be in Miller Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to John A.
