John David Brown

John David Brown, 46, of Shelbyville, passed away, Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Kindred Hospital South in Greenwood. He was born December 27, 1966, in Shelbyville, the son of Tolly and Mary Lou (Cox) Brown. He married Sharon Adcock on May 26, 2001, and she survives. Other survivors include his son, Johnathen Andrew “Drew” Brown of Greenwood; several aunts, uncles and cousins and lots of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. John was a lifelong resident of Shelbyville. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1984-85. John was formerly employed as an oil and lube technician at the Grease Pit, Sandman Brothers and Walmart. He was a member of the CB Radio Club and enjoyed listening to music and watching sports, especially the Cubs. John also leaves behind his dogs, Prancer and Pug. A Celebration of Life will be at 1 pm, Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Morrison Park in Shelbyville. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. Memorial contributions may be made to the John D. Brown Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
