John Hershel Ayers

John Hershel Ayers, 81, of Shelbyville, formerly of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Ashford Place in Shelbyville. Born June 13, 1930, he was the son of Hugh H. Ayers and Ethel R. Earnheart. Survivors include his niece, Mary Fisher of Manilla. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Ayers was a High School math teacher. He served in the US Airforce. Private family services are being observed. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
