Jonathan Wayne Linville, 39, of Shelbyville, died Friday, March 13, 2009, in Hancock County. Born Feb. 27, 1970, in Franklin, he was the son of Carlene "Carl" and Barbara (Metter) Linville. He married Carla Kay Rairdon, and she survives. Other survivors include his father, of Whiteland; daughter, Rachel Rairdon of Shelbyville; sons, Zachary Rairdon and Nicholas Rairdon, both of Shelbyville; brothers, Paul (wife, Sherry) Linville of Franklin and Charles (wife, Karen) Linville of Greenwood; parents-in-law, Charles and Ruth Rairdon; six nieces; seven nephews; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. Mr. Linville was employed with 4-D Buildings. He loved fishing; enjoyed music and going to concerts; and was an avid sports fan, including NASCAR and football. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Carmony-Ewing Chapel of Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jonathan Linville Fund for the education of his children, in care of Carmony-Ewing Chapel of Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S.
