Jose Dominguez Sosa

Jose Dominguez Sosa, 56, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Kindred Hospital South in Indianapolis. Born May 3, 1956, in Jacona, Michoacan, Mexico, he was the son of Jose and Elena Domingues Sosa. He married Teresa L. Sosa, and she survives. Survivors include his daughters, Cristina (husband, Francisco) Reyes of Smithfield, Utah and Rosa Maria (husband, Alberto) Soloria of Omaha, Nebraska; sons, Jose (wife, Dristina) Sosa Jr., Reynaldo (wife, Leticia) Sosa and Jesus (wife, Laura) Sosa, all of Shelbyville; sisters, Amalia Sosa, Luz Sosa, Martha Sosa, Lola Sosa, Elena Sosa, Margarita Sosa and Olga Sosa, all of Jacona, Michoacan, Mexico; brothers, Javier Sosa of Shelbyville, Fernando Sosa of Jacona, Michoacan, Mexico, George Sosa of Oregon; grandchildren, Angel, Francisco Jr., Alexis, Alberto Jr., Jazmine, Arely, Erika, Chloe, Lucy, Daisy, Johan, Destiny, Letisha and Kimberly; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Sosa became a United States Citizen 33 years ago, he had lived in Shelbyville for the past 11 years. He was formerly employed at PK USA for five years. Mr. Sosa loved soccer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Sosa was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Father Aaron Pfaff officiating. Interment will be in Jacona, Michoacan, Mexico.
