Joseph T. Troiber

Joseph T. Troiber, 54, of Shelbyville, passed away, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Waldron Health and Rehabilitation in Waldron. He was born June 19, 1960, in Riverside, California, the son of Joseph Thomas and Mary Troiber. He married Brenda Burt on June 19, 2009, and she survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Tammi Troiber of Ponco City, Oklahoma; sons, Joseph Troiber and Michael Troiber, both of Ponco City; sisters, Teresa Larson of Little Lake, Michigan and Leigh Ann Roberts of Marquette, Michigan; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Joseph graduated from Gwinn High School in Gwinn, Michigan in 1978. He was formerly a self-employed flooring installer. Joseph enjoyed music and flew a World War II flight simulator on the computer. Private services will be observed. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joseph T. Troiber Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
