Joshua Lee "Josh" Montgomery, 28, of Noblesville, formerly of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007, at his home.
Born July 25, 1979, in Columbus, he was the son of Brent Lee Montgomery and Annemarie (Heuer) Reinle.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Jill Montgomery, of Shelbyville; mother and stepfather, Nat Reinle, of Hope; brothers, Luke A. (wife, Meghan) Runnebohm and Cody Montgomery, both of Shelbyville, Jake D. Runnebohm of Jeffersonville and Spencer Reinle of Hope; sister, Megan A. West of Shelbyville; grandparents, George and Sunny Lux and Max and Gayle Owens, all of Shelbyville, Harold and Maurita Gearhart of Columbus and Loren and Margarete Heuer of Southport; niece, Grace Montgomery; and nephew, Brody Runnebohm.
Josh was a home finance broker at Chase Bank for four years.
He graduated from Hauser High School in Hope in 1997, where he was on the basketball, tennis and golf teams and played the drums in the band. He graduated from Indiana University in 2002, with a bachelor of science degree in public affairs.
Josh was a member of Theta Chi fraternity and Hope Moravian Church in Hope.
He loved boating, the outdoors, golf and working out.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hope Moravian Church, 202 Main St. in Hope.
Interment will be in Hope Moravian Cemetery in Hope.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Joshua Montgomery Memorial Fund, in care of Blue River community Foundation, 54 W. Broadway St.
