Joyce Arlene Case

Joyce Arlene Case, 55, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Major Hospital. She was born February 25, 1958, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Eugene Dobbins and Norma Jean (Vincent) Boaz. She married Steven Nash, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Shawn William (wife, Melissa) Ross of Shelbyville; sisters, Janet (husband, Walker) Adkins of Fairland and Judy (husband, Timothy) Fuller of Shelbyville; half-sisters, Mary (husband, Dale) Gerrian of St. Omer and Charleen (husband, Dave) Turpin of Wilkerson; half-brothers, Tommy Dobbins of Shelbyville and Kevin Dobbins of Flat Rock; grandchildren, Caden Ross, Chloe Ross and Lydia Ross; and step-mother, Donna Dobbins of Flat Rock. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Joyce was a housewife. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Joyce also leaves behind her cat, Tubby. Private family services will be conducted. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
