Juanita Daniels, 81, of Columbus died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born Dec. 9, 1925, in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Walter C. and Sarah Anna (Holt) Malone.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Daniels of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy Malone and Earl Malone; sisters, Naomi Ruth Pilk, Lois Chaney, Mabel V. Pilk and three infant sisters; and one grandson.
Ms. Daniels lived in Columbus for the past 21 years. She previously had lived in Shelbyville for 30 years.
She retired in 1986 from the former Attitype Inc. in Shelbyville, as a sewing department supervisor.
Ms. Daniels graduated in 1944 from Bloomfield High School.
She was a former member of Delta Theta Tau.
Ms. Daniels was an avid reader and crossword puzzle player.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Broadway Chapel, 232 W. Broadway St.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
