Judith K. "Judy" Robinson, 71, of Shelbyville died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at her home.
Born April 19, 1939, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Phillip McVicker and Lola Mary (Bordon) Bauch. She married Luther Jerry ?Shoeman? Robinson in 1966, and he survives.
Other survivors include her sons, Randall F. Gibbs, Jerry W. Robinson, David E. Robinson and Charles A. Robinson, all of Shelbyville; sisters, Jean Ann Bauch of Indianapolis and Mary Louise Spencer of Big Clifty, Ky.; grandchildren, Brandon Gibbs, Amber Newkirk and Kileen Slack and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Laci.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, John E. Bauch; and sister, Beverly Jump.
Mrs. Robinson retired from GE/Wellman in 1984, after 20 years of service.
She never missed a day of school in 12 years and graduated from Tech High School in 1957.
Mrs. Robinson loved to read and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Jason Quellhorst officiating.
Interment will be in New Palestine Cemetery.
