Judy Lee Fisher, 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born November 13, 1946, in Linton, the daughter of Noah D. and Ruby A. (Canady) Achors. She married Brian E. Fisher on October 16, 1981, and he survives.
Judy is also survived by her son, Robin L. (wife, Kimberly) Clayborn of Easley, South Carolina; daughter, Mary E. (husband, Joel) Cox of Fairland; brother, Thomas R. (wife, Margaret) Achors of Fairland; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bobby Gene Clayborn on October 8, 1976; and a brother, James Herbert Achors.
Judy graduated from Triton Central High School in 1965.
She was a former member of Fairland Baptist Church.
Judy formerly worked at Walmart from 1991-2001 and was a student loan processor for Nelnet from 2003 until retiring in 2008.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, with John Hanson officiating.
Interment will be in Fairland Cemetery.
