Julia Ann McDarby, 67, of Morristown passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Morristown Manor. Born November 8, 1942, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Paul and Sally (Stanovick) Redmon. She married Dennis James McDarby on July 21, 1984, and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2006. Survivors include her daughters, Shanon Antcliff of Columbus, Melody Burton of Morristown, Maureen McDarby and Susan (husband, Jeff) Hoe, both of San Franciso, California, Mary (husband, Jeff) Patterson of Murphy, North Carolina; sons, Dennis (wife, Alice) McDarby of Finley, Ohio and Patrick (wife, Diane) McDarby of San Diego, California; brother, Joseph "Joe" (wife, Mary Jo) Redmon of Flora; brother-in-law, J. Patrick McDarby of Collegeville, Minnesota; sister-in-law, Nancy McDarby of St. Joseph, Minnesota; grandchildren, Nicholas, Natalie, David, Kyle, Colin and Dennis; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, Brian McDarby. Mrs. McDarby retired from Freudenberg NOK after more than 20 years of service. She later was employed at the Bluebird restaurant. She graduated from Flora High School in 1961. Mrs. McDarby was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Morristown American Legion No. 102 Women's Auxiliary. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m .Thursday at Freeman Fmaily Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelbyville-Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176; or Morristown American Legion No. 102, Post Office Box 102, Morristown, Indiana 46161
