Katherine M. "Kathy" Ebert

Katherine M. “Kathy” Ebert, 59, of New Palestine passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at her home. She was born January 22, 1961, in Peru, the daughter of Glen and Norma Hight. Kathy is survived by her children, Linda Gaither and husband, Wesley, of Morristown, Matthew Gaiski of Fairland, and Michelle Gaiski of New Palestine; sister, Betty Terman of North Manchester; four granddaughters, Abigail, Sadie, Lacey and Willow; and close family friends, Mary Lee Jackson of Arlington, Donna Tracy of Morristown, and Chery Brenton of Fountaintown. She was preceded in death by her parents; biological parents, Charles R. and Linda (Sutton) Kett; and a sister, Carol Swango. Kathy graduated in 1979 from Morristown High School. She was a cook at the Bluebird Restaurant for over 25 years. Kathy enjoyed crocheting, bird watching and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. She loved cats. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
