Kathleen Joan Paulus

Kathleen Joan Paulus, 81, of Lecanto, Florida, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 in Shelbyville, Indiana. She was born to Chester and Mildred (Ranger) Bahr on September 7, 1932, in Akron, Ohio. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard Edward Paulus, they were married on April 30, 1955. Also surviving are her daughters, Susan Marie Paulus of Beverly Hills, Florida, Connie Jean Ripley and husband, Gordon, of Ocala, Florida and Patricia Ann Beville of Lecanto; son, David Edward Paulus and significant other, Ann Marie Rood, of Hollywood, Florida; grandchildren, Amy Lynn Paulus, James and Trista Beville, Tonya Beville, Alan and Sherri Beville, Ryan and Jenna Rae Ripley, Ashley and Chris Cook and Tiffany and Donald Warren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Jean Paulus of North Canton, Ohio and daughter-in-law, Lynn Paulus of Florence, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin infant sons; brother, James Bahr and grandson, Matthew Beville. Kathleen graduated from West High School in Akron, Ohio. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Crystal River, Florida. Kathleen loved her family and spending time with them, she especially loved the time she spent with her husband. She was always kind and generous. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, baking, shopping thrift stores and traveling. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services were entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville, Indiana.
